Good to know before an event in Warsaw

Where the big shows happen

COS Torwar and EXPO XXI take arena-size concerts, the National Stadium the very largest; Progresja in Wola and Klub Stodoła near Pole Mokotowskie are the main clubs for rock, metal, hip-hop and electronic tours. Classical music lives at the Warsaw Philharmonic and the Teatr Wielki opera house.

Tickets and prices

eBilet, Eventim and goingapp cover most Warsaw concerts; Progresja and Stodoła sell directly through their own sites. Autumn is the busiest touring season, so weekend dates at the clubs sell out well in advance.

Getting there

Progresja is reached by tram from the centre along Wolska street; Stodoła and Torwar are close to the metro. Night buses replace the metro after 1 a.m.
